A changing competitive situation, increasing relevance of online pharmacies, a new generation of pharmacists/ pharmacy technicians, increasing regulations and stipulations in the Rx sector (generics quota, aut idem, etc.) describe further factors affecting the situation of pharmacists/ pharmacy technicians and pharmacies. Alongside these changes in the pharmacy landscape and influenced by major trends and developments, the requirements of products, brands, communication and the sales force are changing in the OTC sector.The objective is to provide the strategic and operational marketing of pharmaceutical manufacturers with a sound basis for assessment and planning.
